Research On The States And The Countermeasures Of Top Grade Community Sports Services In Guangzhou

This research adopts relevant sociological theories, utilizes the investigation methods of field study and questionnaire in top grade communities in Guangzhou, and come to the conclusion that top grade community is a new type of high-level residential area and symbolizes the trend of development. The sports services in large communities consists of facility service, organization service, coaching service and information service. Facility service in large communities in Guangzhou are better than average. Sports space per thousand residents exceeds 800 square meters. But it still fails to meet residents' demand and needs to expand. 20.89% of the residents think of the sports charges as high. Certain rules shall be made to regulate facility management and hence reasonably lower the charges to benefit residents' health with low-profit service. Co-operations with schools and other organizations in the community shall be arranged so as to share and make the best of community sports resources. The level and frequency of resident participation in community sports are high, but more self-organization than club management is adopted. Lack of effective supervision system and decrease of government involvement makes community sports management inefficient. The owners committee and local residents committee shall be employed to enhance community sports management and perfect the network of community sports organizations. There has been a great advance in coaching service, but generally speaking the quality is unsatisfactory and the shortage of coaches still exist. Human resources should be built up, in quantity first and then in quality. Information services are few and irregular. Effective methods shall be adopted to improve the information service and to promote sports culture.In accordance with the current situation of community sports services, the development pattern of" point-line-net" may be adopted, together with the assistance of human resource, funding and system. The method of funding shall gradually change from self-raising by residents to multi-channel fund-raising , and the expenditure structure shall also be adjusted. System shall be built up to create growth point of community sports through system innovation and policy regulation.
