Since curriculum implementation is the important part of curriculum reform, we have to do the research deeply of the implementation of curriculum reform scheme, so as to adjust, revise, perfect the scheme in time. New-round elementary educational reform has come into the implementation in September 2001 and at present many rural schools have already adopted New Curriculum. The research on New Curriculum implementation of rural schools could make us know the whole instance of New Curriculum implementation. In this research we conduct the deep investigation on the implementation degree of New Curriculum and influential factors and offer some suggestions of improving New Curriculum implemented in the rural schools through a case study, with the information-collecting ways of interview, questionnaire, open questionnaire, observation and document analysis etc.The article is composed of four parts: (1) Introduction. Recommending the existing theory achievement of curriculum implementation field briefly, explaining the research purposes and issues, and giving details of several basic questions. (2) The rural teachers' basic conditions of the New Curriculum implementation in north Guangdong Province. Regarding the Concerns-Based Adoption Model as the theoretical foundation, using the condition of inquiry teaching implementing as the breakthrough point, we investigate the whole condition of the New Curriculum implementation in the school which we study.(3)Influential factors of New Curriculum implementation in rural schools in north of Guangdong Province. In that school, the operation of the New Curriculum, the practicability of the material ofthe New Curriculum, the actual effect of the teachers' training, supporting of recourses, the teachers' subject knowledge, the professional knowledge structure of the teachers, the headmasters' participation and support to the New Curriculum implementation, students' quality and learning motivation will have a very important influence on the New Curriculum implementation.(4)Conclusion: Some suggestions to rural schools' New Curriculum implementation. If we want to move forward New Curriculum reform, we need to optimize teachers' professional knowledge structure of rural schools; strengthen headmasters' participation and support to New Curriculum; develop the research of teaching which is based on school; improve the teachers' ability of using and developing the native curriculum material; strengthen the exchange and cooperation between teachers.
