Absence Of Integrity In Chinese College Student's Behaviors: Status,Cause And Countermeasure

The changes of economic system, political system, culture system, etc., have brought the division and reorganization of the interests' relation, people's mode of thinking, life style and values are changing deeply in social transition period. At the same time, it becomes easier for us to be perplexity and to be in faith crisis with the multi-culture collision and multi-information communicating. Therefore, the problem on the integrity becomes a hotspot in our life. And recently, the absence of integrity in college student has been emerging along with the disclosure of breaking faith in society.Taking the college student who living in the transferring time, the thesis includes four parts besides preface, and try to probe into the status, cause and countermeasure in the college student's behavior of absence in integrity.The first part displays the notion of integrity in the history in orient and Occident, and gives the definition on integrity in our modern time.The second part gives us a qualitative analysis on the behavior of absence in integrity in the college student from sociological aspect. Take the behavior that aim to harm others or base on individualism to cheat or disguise, the thesis classifies three kind of absence of integrity in knowledge, economy and intercourse on examples.From anatomizing the causation of the behavior of absence in integrity, the third part draws a conclusion that it is a result on the basis of factors in inside and outside. The author thinks that it is an unavoidable phenomenon in the transferring community, the schooling and family education also has to take in hand in this problem. And it is easy for the university student to be influenced by the environment.The fourth part tries to find two effective countermeasures to the behavior and try to build a system on the status of university student integrity. The author appeals to establishment of criterions on the integrity and optimizing institutional environment to strengthen the education on integrity of university student in school and family. On the other hand, the author also calls on the students to do more soul-searching and to be free play in integrity.
