The Study Of College Students’ Education On Integrity

Integrity is the traditional virtue of our Chinese nation, and it’s the moral ethics,which is self-identified by all of human beings. Recent years, the moral belief andvalues was strongly impacted for the negative factors of the transition period of oursociety; the integrity crisis rapidly extended into every fields. Under the unhealthy ethos,the phenomenon-lacking of integrity among partly college students-became more andmore serious, and had already aroused high attention of the personages in all circles.The phenomenon reflected in academic study, economic activity, job-employment,social communication, and so on. The reason lays in both subjective and objectivecauses.College students are not only disseminator and embracer of human civilization aswell as knowledge, but also the constructer and successor of our future country. Thecredible condition of them makes direct differences on the development of SocialistModernization and the healthy structure of Harmonious Society. The results of theirbehavior and manners depend on the integrity degree when they step into the society,and must influence on individual, collectivity, country. Although the condition ofcollege students appears positive on the whole, it’s still far away from the requirementsof social development; faith-breaking is also the headaches of managers in college.Therefore, it’s extremely important to promote integrity education amongundergraduate.Literature, comparison, interview, questionnaire and experience-summary methodare used in the dissertation. First of all, the text compared the viewpoints of integrity inChinese traditional way with the foreign countries, and analyzed the connotation ofmodern integrity; the research pointed out that the good faith was developed in theprocessing of establishing Market-Oriented Economy, was the inheritance, development,and sublimation of conventional belief. Secondly, the author studied the present statusof the university man, analyzed their performances and the reasons in detailed; thus, putforward the necessity and the significance of integrity education. In the process, theauthor pointed that the account of wake effects on the education attributed to theconcepts, contents, means, and evaluation in teaching. Ultimately, on the basis ofintrospection, combined with the reality, the writer came up with several suggestions onthe aspects of clearing the goal on university education, reforming the forms of integrity teaching, creating the favorable learning environments, enhancing the mechanism ofcollege study, etc.
