The effective exertion of written test function is not only dependent on its scientific design and normal exercise, but depend on whether the control of the grading error is effective or not. But, it is the theoretical and practical problem how to prevent the grading of written subjective items form being interfered by various irrelevant factor, to lower the rate of subjective item grading at full steam, and make the test results to reflect the testees' level of knowledge and proficiency, and it is the problem the test research circle explored for a long time, but has no substantive breakthrough.So to deepen the precedent research achievement and get new findings in the improvement of the principles and methods of controlling the subjective items grading errors, beginning with defining the grading errors and relating its controlling content, this thesis analyses the properties of the subjective item grading errors, recognizes the errors controlling value, studies the factors causing such errors, generalizes the fundamental principles of controlling the grading errors .Based on the theoretical understanding, this essay probes the practical problems in controlling the subjective items grading errors in our country, and with purpose gives some approaches and methods to optimize the controlling of subjective items grading errors. The basic opinions and conclusions are as follows:Grading errors, which mainly occurs in the subjective items grading refers to the variances between the scores granted by the graders and the scores that testees can obtain. The controlled object is the grading staff, the controlling content includes the controlling over the errors from the grading staff, the grading conditions and the grading course.The main factors are the written subjective items, graders, and conditions, result in the written subjective items grading errors.The control over the written subjective items errors must be guided by according theories and strictly obey three principles: the control principle, the...
