As we all know, taijiquan, which inherits profound Chinese culture and tradition, has been becoming popular around the world, and its wide spreading and great influence have attracted many scholars'attention. More and more scholars begin to analyze it from the angle of body building, preserving of health, philosophy, sociology, aesthetics or strategy. Through their documents we can find out that most of them only study a specific problem in a way of sociological underlining or social function. Then the writer of this thesis tries to analyze the relationship between taijiquan and human's socialization, social behavior, social interaction, primary social group, post –modernization, social problems, harmonious society and so on in order to find out taijiquan proper orientation. The writer tries to analyze its elementary conception and theory rather than study a specific aspect in taijiquan or social problem. What's more, the writer also tries to found taijiquan, which is a kind of social phenomenon, an elementary theory with sociology. It's quite natural that there might be some shortcomings which is inevitable since it is a postgraduate's thesis with limited ability and words. It is an attempt in the foundation theory field, maybe it can inspire and illuminate some new ideas. German great sociologist Mark Web once raised out the proposition of "the Neutrality of value", and "the noninterference of value" and hoped scholars could keep objective in studying. Many sociologist devoted their whole lives to the study of society only to find it was impossible to separate personal feeling completely and keep "the Neutrality of value" absolutely since its final target was human beings. But the author will try to keep a objective eye in the process of exploration despite the fact that he might make some personal judgment in value, and we can't say it has no active effects. There are two oriental judgment of value. It goes as follows: First, with the fast development in economy and great improvement in life, some negative phenomenon in society surged up. Taijiquan, in the author's opinion, bears outstanding cultural quality, therefore can provide some salvation methodologically. Second, qualities of this culture are conformed in way that is can do contribution to the foundation of a harmonious society since it inherits the Chinese culture. If there would be a third value judgment, it must be that taijiquan could develop rigorously. It functions as a kind of cushion for those people who are puzzled by multy-value in the process of social changing.
