Based On Academic Culture And The Management Culture Of Harmony And Unity Of The University Culture Construction

University Culture plays an important role in human advanced civilization. It is a unique culture pattern, which was formed gradually during the long period of educational practice. The importance of university culture is valued increasingly by most of the university managements for its great important guidance to the cultural construction and development of the university. As the two most important university and cultural sub-cultures, University's academic culture and administrational culture's co-exist in harmony and mutual promotion will have a great theoretical and practical significance for the construction of a harmonious university culture.Based on the analysis of the concept of the university's academic culture, this paper explains the university culture, university administrational culture, the important role of university academic culture and its main characteristics. It studies the essential characteristics of the university's academic culture and administrational culture, as well as the current university academic culture and administrational culture status. In research and summary of the foreign universities' culture experience (which includes Harvard, Yale, Oxford and other leading universities) about university culture construction, the paper analyses and fuses the inexorable state for the harmony of two kinds of university cultures, and presents an alternate path for a harmonious unification of two cultures under the construction of the university culture.This paper argues that the main problem is the conflict between the university academic authority and administrative authority in the current construction of the university academic culture and the cultural management. The tendency of administration exists to varying degrees for both the university academic culture and the cultural management. In the construction of university cultures in China, a harmonious and people-oriented concept should be established with an emphasis on service awareness. The effective fusion of the two cultures ought to be accomplished by enhancing cultural awareness, training system in universities and rebuilding university cultures.
