The conception of talent resource exploitation has two senses: broad sense and narrow sense. In the broad sense, talent resource exploitation includes a series of activities, such as efficiently searching, cultivating, exchanging, arranging and utilizing the candidates. While in the narrow sense, it just indicates the training of capability and the digging of potential of talents. Primarily, this paper focuses on the latter one.In short, talent-cultivating model contains three items, the object, the standard and the general method. Commonly, it makes up of such factors as cultivating objects, specialty setting, curriculum system, teaching method, and so on.College is the main source for talent resource exploitation. Teaching activities help to exploit talent resource in colleges, and they are proceeding in the frame of talent-cultivating model. So, in some extent, the relation between the talent resource exploitation and the college could be represented as the relation between the talent resource exploitation and the talent-cultivating model. The rationality of such model will directly affect the quality of college graduate. Therefore, it will also affect the quality of the talent resource exploitation and the talent-cultivating model. The professional researches suggested that the most important problem in the talent requirement in our country is not the quantity of talent, but the quality of talent. On the contrary, it proved that there existed some problems in the college talent-cultivating model in our country.At present, there are several primary problems in college talent-cultivating model in our country. First, specification of the cultivating object is still comparatively simplex and lacks of definitude and pertinence. Secondly, the tendency in excessively fine and narrow speciality setting tends to limit the independency of college. Thirdly, the unadvanced and nonscientific curriculum setting with finely splitted knowledge makes the teaching matters out-of-date and curriculum structure unbenifitting. Finally, the dated traditional teaching methods are still in use and result in low application rate of modern education techniques and low degree of education informization. So, it is necessary to deepen the innovation of college talent-cultivating model to improve the quality of the talent resource and the level of talent resource exploitation.In the innovation of college talent-cultivating model, the essential thought of beneficial to both the talent resource exploitation and the talent resource quality improvement includes lots of aspects, such as the whole reconstruct of educational conception, the pluralistic establishment of cultivating object, the abundant speciality setting of subject, the integrative design of the system of curriculum, the scientific content plan of teaching, the exertion of modern cultivating methods, and the flexible choices of teaching system.
