Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the work of talents,insisting that innovation-driven is essentially talent-driven,constantly improving the environment for talent innovation,inspiring the energy of talent innovation,and vigorously training and developing a large number of innovative thinking and innovation Ability of various types of scientific and technological talents,leading scientific and technological talents,and young talents.2020 is the decisive year for China to enter the ranks of innovative countries.The emphasis on talent innovation will also rise to a higher strategic level.In this context,the research on the innovation efficiency of regional talents has certain significance for advancing China's innovation-driven development process.First,this article summarizes the concepts,theories,and literature of talent innovation efficiency at home and abroad,and puts forward the definition of talent innovation efficiency in this article.Secondly,through the collation of the data,the status of talent input and innovation output in the three strategic regions of China are briefly compared.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is further selected as the research area,and a descriptive analysis is made of the status of talent innovation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.After that,based on the theoretical analysis of the regional talent innovation process,a regional talent innovation efficiency evaluation index system was constructed,and the innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Economic Belt was measured by constructing an improved DEA model.Using spatial convergence analysis,spatial center of gravity theory,and space Correlation analysis and other spatial analysis models analyze the spatial characteristics of talent innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The empirical results show that the talent innovation efficiency gap between provinces,cities and regions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is large;the convergence trend and catch-up effect of talent innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are not obvious;the spatial distribution of talent innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is north-east-It is south-southwest and has a trend of northward dispersion and westward polarization;the innovation efficiency of talents in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has clustering development characteristics in space.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on the empirical results: strengthening the construction of talent teams and optimizing the structure of talent input;optimizing the allocation of talent resources and improving the efficiency of talent innovation;promoting the sharing of talent resources and promoting regional Balanced development.
