Undergraduates' Network-Action And Self-Consciousness

This study collected the materials through questionnaire investigation and individual case interview. It is from the action of the undergraduates and studies how the network-action influences self-consciousness.And it is based on the relevant theories of sociology and social psychology,especially the theories of the socialization and self-consciousness. This article is divided into four chapters.Chapter one clarifies the study background of the question. It also analyzes and operates the relevant concepts of this study. Furthermore, it states the research train, purpose and method.Chapter two describes the actualities of the network-action and self-consciousness. The results of this research indicate that the undergraduates use net for so long time and the network usage frequency is higher. Enertainment is the main netwok-action and the main motive. They have a few aberrations. This research finds out that undergraduates pay more attention to social self-knowledge than self-knowledge of physiology. Undergraduates evaluate themselves highly and their interests are so widely. They have so much self-feeling. And their self-control is stronger. Chapter three analyzes how the network-action influences the self-consciousness. At first, this study analyzes the relativity of the network-action and the self-knowledge, self-evaluation, self-control. Then,it analyzes that the network-action influences self-consciousness by multi-analysis method. The results demonstrate there is three factors influence the social self-evaluation. First is the motivation of net-study, then the depth of using net. The last is the net-entertainment. The studying actions of the net can influence self-experience and mental self-control. The depth of using net also can influence the social self-control.Chapter four contains the conclusions and the discussion. Based on analyzing the studying conclusion,the paper discusses how the network-action promotes the undergraduates' socialization and the lost of self-identity in the network-action. Then it gives some suggestions to the undergraduates in order to make them perfect. Finally,it points out the trait,significance and deficiencies of the thesis.
