The study on rural problems is on focus all the time, especially during the period of Social Vicissitudes. The study calls for the participation of various theories such as politics, sociology, history, economics and so on. Unfortunately, views vary from people to people on the base of their own majors, which ruins the congruity of studying rural problems. What's more, historians highlight some advance concepts to aim at scientific history while missing humanism. To get a congruous conception of rural society, it is better to mix historical humanism with humanity approach. This essay will ruminate over what the rural society is like and how the rural social rules work, combining with the case study of a town in Jiangxi Province. As a conclusion, rural social rules are composed of rural internal rules and national rules, which interfere with each other. And that's why some internal rules are the remnants of traditionally national ones. Besides, Both of them are determined by productivity development. During the period of social vicissitude, rural social rules are encountered with a big challenge--social anomie, which is compulsory.
