The Formation Of Rural Order And The Social Basis

Daily disputes in the rural society is a normal phenomenon, the difference of disputesettlement reflects regional differences of the Chinese rural society. Through the analysis ofthe dispute mediation practice in Chongqing Sheng Cun village and Jiangxi HuangCunvillage,this article presents the regional difference of the order formation mechanism inChinese rural society.Although "the rules of the governance" don’t become common phenomenon in rural areain China, dispute mediation practice of the Sheng Cun village in Chongqin tells us,"the rulesof the governance" becomes reality."Authority and rules" is the order form mechanism in thatvillage."Force" plays an important role in the process of the order formation in rural society,but in different areas,the expression of "force" is different. In Jianghan plain,"force"show"violence", make the rural social order involve in “gray condition”. And in the jiangxiarea,"force" is behaved for "power"."Power and order" is the order formation mechanism inJiangxi HuangCun area.The order formation mechanism in the two villages is different.The reason is: First, the"local knowledge" in two village is different; Second, the villagers’ social communicationcharacteristics is different. The Sheng Cun village is a "communication society", HuangCunvillage is a "attachment society".To construct the harmonious rural social order," welcome law to the rural society" is notenough. It do not fundamentally solve the problem. To make rural society from "withoutsubject acquaintances society" to "the main body acquaintances society" change is the basicway of constructing harmonious rural order.
