On the basis of the elementary theory of rural education, urbanization theory, the social pattern changes theory and the social flow theory, I have my research begun with studying on the features,learning and living environment of the guarded children which is a social vulnerable groups during the period of compulsory education, then I make a study on the relation and interaction between the guarded children and their parents, guardians, schools, communities and society, seeking the way to improve the educational environment of the guarded children receiving the compulsory education, so that they can grow healthfully in a good environment. I make use of documents analysis and interviews in this research. Documents analysis which is my first method is used when I make some analyses about the students' study situation, including the number and result of the method of the guarded children in the rural middle school; according to the actual situation, I select the method of formal or informal, direct and indirect, making a combination between individual and collective and so on when I make use of the interviews. In the logic order of raising problems, analyzing problems and solving problems, I make some probes about the problems of compulsory education to the guarded children whose parents are peasant workers. The dissertation is composed of forward, text and concluding remarks. The text has three component parts, the first problem is the chief one, that is the guarded children's compulsory education; the second one is that the positive effect on the guarded children that the peasants of outward employment have and the guide in the compulsory education; the third one is the solution of the guarded children's compulsory education. The dissertation has made some achievements, such as making it much clearer that we should make a further investigation and study about the problem of guarded children' compulsory education, summing up the positive effects that the parents of outward employment have on the guarded children, refuting the traditional position, having it clear that every aspects and interactions which have effect on the guarded children's compulsory education. The four conclusions I have drawn are: First, all the people should pay close attention to the problems of the compulsory education to the guarded children whose parents are peasant workers, in order to remove the harmful effects on the guarded children that the single-family life and learning environment have; Second, it is necessary for the parents, schools and teachers to give a correct guide in the compulsory education because it has positive and negative influence on the guarded children whose parents are in outward employment; Third, our government should ensure investment in the rural compulsory education, arose the society-run education, which can make schools have much more energy to pay close attention to the problems of the guarded children's compulsory education; Forth, decision makers, executors, research workers and guardians should attach importance to the problems of compulsory education to the guarded children, the rural education, each person should serve for the development of our rural education.
