On The Postgraduate Employment Issue

As the advanced professional elites cultivated by our country, postgraduates play an important role in the country's "Scientific and Educational China" policy. So they should play a leading part in every profession in our country's economy. Thus postgraduate employments not only affect students' futures, but also affect the country's further planning in fully using human resources. Under the new circumstance, old educational modes in universities, concepts of seeking jobs and some contradictions between our country's human resource regulations and employment regulations give further insight in postgraduate employment problem and affect the development of higher education. So by questionnaire of postgraduates and actual visiting governmental departments and some corporations, I generally understand the status of postgraduate employments. Then I analyzed other investigations on postgraduate employment problem. Considering current employment status in our country, by deep investigations on postgraduates and corporations, I gave some advices to solve the postgraduate employment problem. My opinion is that a postgraduate's personal comprehensive quality is the most important thing. On the one hand, Corporations should take the responsibility of postgraduate employment. On the other hand, Postgraduates' concepts of seeking jobs should be fully noticed and guided correctly . And our universities should give us graduates some instructions about seeking jobs. Higher education must concentrate on students' comprehensive qualities. As long as postgraduates enhance their comprehensive qualities, they will find suitable jobs.. My paper's structure is: Introduction:Chapter One. In this chapter, I initiate the problem of postgraduate employmentand give its significance and ways to solve it. The investigation on postgraduate employment should be carried on under our country's employment policy. Then, considering the postgraduate education and the characteristic of postgraduates, I started my investigation and objective analysis by the factors affecting postgraduate employment.Chapter Two. Beginning with the questionnaire and charts, by analyzing and summarizing the current status of postgraduate employment, I pointed out some problems underlying in postgraduate employment problems.Cheaper Three. Under the condition of higher education popularization and marketing economy, fully considering the special of postgraduates, I concentrated my investigation on the factors affecting postgraduate employment.Chapter Four. By the existing problems of postgraduates employmant and their reasons, I gave four ways to solve the postgraduate employment problem.
