The drug is spreading so rapidly in the world that very few countries can keep it out. The ruined effects of drug on individual, family, society and even the whole human being are far more serious than that of any other war or plague in human history. China has the biggest population in the world. The evocable problems of drug abuse are getting grimmer and grimmer in China since the Reform and Opening up of 1980s. If China doesn't take more effects to prevent and thus keep it under control, drug will bring our country a terrific grief in the future.It is concluded by some authorities that, no medicine or vaccine can eradicate drug addiction till now and prevention is the most effective strategy to resist drug. Delivering drug abuse resistance education to people since their childhood, to let them acquire scientific and systematic knowledge and skills of refusing drug, and to direct people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, is perhaps the most effective measure of eradicating drug problems.This dissertation consists of the following two parts:In the first part, the international theories, practices and experiences of delivering drug abuse resistance education are introduced. In this part, firstly, the situation of United States of America is presented. The reason to choose U.S.A is that the United States is the first country to deliver drug abuse resistance education which brings far-reaching influence on other countries. U.S.A represents the experience from developed countries in drug abuse resistance education. Secondly, other foreign countries' efforts and experiences in drug abuse resistance education are introduced. Finally, the present situation of drug problems in China and the drug abuse resistance education in Chinese schools is introduced, and the experiences and the defects are analyzed and summarized.In the second part, in view of the main problems in Chinese drug abuse resistance education and referring to the practices and experiences from foreign countries, some countermeasures suitable for the situation of China are provided for reference, which will promote the drug abuse resistance education of China and contribute to the eradication of drug problems.
