Knowledge is determined by the corresponding substances and situation in the real world. When the knowledge "decontexturalized", it lacks vigor. In most cases, the students cannot put a new concept into practice just for lack of real situation. Situated learning is what happens when students are fulfilling a task reflecting the real world.The web possesses such characteristics as resources richness, interaction, openness and convenience, thus facilitating situated learning by expanding the time and space. Guided by the new educational concept and curriculum reforms in high-school physics teaching, I have conducted a research on " the web-based situated learning platform in high-school physics teaching" from the perspective of design and development. The purpose is to integrate network technology with situated learning and then achieve the aim of optimizing high-school physics teaching.This research mainly accomplishes three tasks as follows:First of all, the three instructional models and constructing of the web-based situated learning and the significance of developing this platform are thoroughly explained.Secondly, the systematic structures and functional modules are set up after a detailed analysis of the process of web-based situated learning combined with high-school physics curriculum reform.Thirdly, the application platform for the web-based situated learning in high-school physics teaching is tentatively developed, probated and evaluated.In all, this research provides beneficial references and support for the many physics teachers who apply the information technology in their efficient teaching during the process of new curriculum reform.
