Research Of The Life Education On University Students

Nothing is more precious than life, and a world without life is not perfect. Showing solicitude for students' lives is the essence of education. It's a pity that a blind area has been existing in modern education, namely, the life education which we need most has been ignored. "It is not too late to mend the fold even after some of the sheep have been lost." Life education has been started in our country. At present, certain success has been made in primary and middle school, while enough importance has not been attached to life education for college students.Based on this, the first part of the article analyzes the theories, historical and realistic basis in implementing life education for college students. Thus to realize that college period is extremely critical in which outlook on life and value is formed. It is necessary and urgent to carry out life education for the youth who have been exploring, seeking knowledge and under the pressure and competition at the same time.Part two expounds the aim and main contents of life education for college students and points out that the aim consists of three levels, namely, to treasure life — to create life value on initiative — to promote life value consciously. The aim is in accordance with age characteristic of college students, whereas the third level is excessive for primary and middle school students. The main content of life education for college students is to develop their life, hardship, harmony and contribution consciousness.In part three, the author offers proposals on how to advance the ways and methods of performing life education for college students, aiming to provide preference for life education in colleges and universities.In general, compared with other similar papers, this article brings forth new...
