Study On Present Situation Of Wushu Education Of Henan Province Colleges

Wushu is a traditional sports in China . It has played an important role in Chinese history . The Wushu Education has a long history in China. After the of People's republic of China , as one important part of traditional sports , Wushu was edited in "syllabus for physical education in College middles school and primaryschool ."in 1961. The special training results and characteristics of Wushu accord with Colldge Students'physical and psychologic features , so it has played an important role in College physical education. Since 60's 20th century ,Wushu entered the college , it had received welcome . Henan province is powerful in Wushu in China , long-honoured and famous Shaoling boning and Shadow boning both originated in Henan is strong . Wushu is list in syllabusas a optional subject in many colleges an universities . In order to make Wushu develop deeply in education , author of this paper made both in-the-spot and question investigation. According to the statistics and analyses on present situation of Wushu education Henan Provence Colleges , the author gives some valuable references for the future Wushu education . The means of Documents, investigation, statistics areadopted in the research . 76 colleges or universities are wsted as study object 31colleges universities has the enperince of Wushu Eduation attention. The followings are features found the author through the study : 1. In Colleges or Universities of Henan , The formulating of education targets accord to the relative demands . At present, the periods are not very plenty, the developing levels is keep balance . 2. The staff in the major of Wushu ate mostly young . The ratio of man teachers to women-teachers is improper , The teachers graduated from the major of Wushu are not cnough .The researding ability of teacher in not powerful enough . Most of students are satisfied with the teaching . 3. In the colleges concerned , Simplized Taiji boning and the primary dong punch are the main teaching content .Most of the schools , The specific theories are not taught in of them . It appears the situation lf the so-called " Emphasizing on technique , underrating the theory . 4. The measure method nowdays in not suitable for the students' testing . Fortunly the staff have realized the importance of students' multh –quality . The testing form has been improved . 5. Mast of the students who chose Wushu as the major or optional subject have clear study target . Students are satisfied with the teaching and not with the dull teaching methods . Most of colleges concerned , the teaching materials are dull and the periods are limited . The equipments in arena are not satisfying . And most of the students feel unsatisfied with the situation of sports arena .
