Experimental Teaching Study In Henan General College Of The Sports Education Professional

With the continuous promotion and development of the sports education in colleges and universities, physical education professionals are playing a more and more critical role in sports-related departments and fields. Physical education major in higher education is the cradle of sports talents. Therefore, the overall quality and comprehensive ability, which is greatly influenced by PE teaching in higher education, certainly will affect the future of our country’s sports course. While, the experiment teaching, as an important part in PE teaching, plays a pivotal role in cultivating the students’ practical ability, comprehensive ability and overall quality. At present, institutes of physical education in Henan province attach great importance to experiment teaching. Experiment teaching in higher education has made remarkable achievements in investment, purchasing of experimental instruments and equipments and experiment teaching staff configuration, etc. However, experiment teaching still did not meet the requirements of college training objectives.Based on documentation, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, this gives a comprehensive investigation and analysis of physical education majors’ s experiment teaching from 9 institutes of physical education in Henan province. To understand the experiment teaching, this thesis analyses several factors related to experiment teaching from deferent levels, such as teaching staff, staff’s mental attitude, students, subject setting, laboratory resource allocation, etc. The thesis made a comprehensive analysis and discussion,and made the following conclusions:1. Although at present institutes of physical education in Henan province attach great importance to experiment teaching, with professional experiment teaching staff equipped, there are still a few colleges and universities without full-time teaching staff. Experiment teaching are conducted by teachers of theory course.2. Most experiment teaching staff of institutes of physical education in Henan province have Master’s Degree and Doctoral Degree.3. Experiment teaching staff and students from institutes of physical education in Henan province attach great importance to experiment teaching, but few students don’t.4. Experiment teaching among institutes of physical education in Henan province have a full range of subjects with reasonable project structure and enough teaching time, while a few institutes don’t.5. Experiment teaching investment, purchasing of experimental instruments and equipments, especially large-scale and high-end precision instruments, can satisfy the need of experimental teaching in Henan province. Experiment teaching centers in institutes of physical education are open to public. Experimental instruments and equipments can come into use and are in good condition, but a few institutes can’t do that.6. Qality checking system for experiment teaching is sound with thorough content, but it lacks of process checking on students.7. The experimental teaching effect feedback by students majoring in physical education are as follows: through experiment teaching, their experimental ability, scientific research ability, as well as the scientific innovation ability are improved, which does good to their postgraduate eduction and future work. However, there are still a few students who do not think experiment teaching will help them much in their future work.
