Teachers of Han nationality in Lhasa have made historic contribution to the development of educational cause in the area inhabited by the minority nationalities. They serve as an important driving force of the development of social, economic and cultural undertaking of the area. They act as strong tie to maintain close relationship between Tibetan and Han, the link of cultures of the two as well. Not only does professional responsibility of teachers of Han nationality influence the improvement of teaching quality, but also the unity of nationalities. It is, therefore, essential that a deep research into the subject should be done.On the basis of vast amount of interview and survey, we made a careful investigation into the inclination of professional responsibility of Han teachers. With regard to the improvement of teaching quality, most Han teachers possess a strong responsibility in such aspects as gaining professional proficiency, learning from other teachers, preparing lessons, reading and commenting on students' homework, encouraging students to learn; some Han teachers, in the meantime, have weak responsibility in such aspects as improving teaching methodologies, integrating the content of teaching with students' real life, utilizing teaching tools, arousing students' learning enthusiasm, introducing suitable learning methods to students.
