The Research Of Mathematical Modeling Teaching In The Middle School

Improving the students' quality of mathematical application is one of the goals in mathematics- education. Mathematical Modeling is the best way to achieve the goal as part of problem - solving.This thesis analyzes mathematical modeling teaching's reasons, position, current situation and significance, which is paid much attention at hone and abroad .It put forward the problems - how to cultivate and improve the students' ability of mathematical modeling, the effective approach of mathematical modeling teaching in the middle school, and also illustrates the theory basis and its feature that mathematical modeling in middle school refers to the solving of mathematical- application questions ,and gives a practical example of population predication to illustrate modeling methods and principles.It has proved that there is positive correlation between mathematical elementary knowledge and mathematics — applying to great extent.
