In the preface of the curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school mathematics curriculum(2017 edition),it is pointed out that the development of core accomplishment of Chinese students is the embodiment and refinement of the Party's educational policy.Subject accomplishment is the concentrated embodiment of educating value,mathematics subject accomplishment is the centralized embodiment of mathematics curriculum goal.As one of mathematics literacy,mathematical modeling naturally occupies an important position in mathematics learning in senior high school.However,function is an important part of mathematics learning in senior high school.It is widely used in real life.Many practical problems in social life should use functional knowledge to establish corresponding functions Model to solve.Therefore,to cultivate and improve students' ability of mathematical modeling through function teaching in senior high school is not only helpful for students to learn the knowledge of function,but also to cultivate students' ability of mathematical modeling.In this way,cultivating students' mathematical modeling ability in high school function teaching has a win-win effect and has important teaching significance.However,there are few studies related to how to cultivate students' mathematical modeling ability in high school function teaching.In view of these problems,this paper combines with our own teaching practice.At the same time,combining with relevant theories,the paper discusses how to train students' mathematical modeling ability in function teaching in senior high school.The paper is divided into six parts: the first part introduces that mathematical modeling has become an important part of mathematics teaching in senior high school under the background of the reform of new curriculum standards,and it is one of the most important core qualities.In this context,the significance of this study and the methodsused in the study are proposed.The second part is the literature review part,mainly according to the previous research to the mathematics modeling,the mathematical model,the function model,the mathematics modeling ability and so on related concepts have carried on the definition and has proposed the mathematics modeling ability theory foundation.The third part is the practice investigation part,through the function model topic to understand the mathematics to the high school function The mastering situation of the model,through the questionnaire survey to the teacher to understand the teacher to the mathematics modeling understanding and the school to the modeling teaching implementation situation,through the investigation to the student and the teacher obtains the related data and the conclusion.The fourth part is the description of the teaching design idea of the mathematics modeling course,the fifth part is the detailed demonstration of the function model teaching class example,the sixth part is the understanding of how to train the students' mathematical modeling ability in the high school function teaching.And through what kind of function model to train the student which aspect ability,thus enhances the student's mathematics modeling ability.
