The cultivation of creative spirit and physical ability is very important in character education. Emotion-situation teaching provides a fair plate for it. The Experimental emotion-situation teaching is a part of physical teaching, which plays an important role in character education. Based on the theory on emotion, stimuli-behavior, transfer, reinforcement and activities, combined with the basic theory of emotion-situation education, this thesis makes a study of the physical experimental emotion-situation teaching in middle schools.This thesis falls into four chapters. Chapter one introduces the presentation of the research, the related trends of development both at home and abroad and the significance of this research. Chapter Two deals with the concept, characteristics of the physical experimental emotion-situation teaching and classification of the physical experimental emotion-situation. Chapter Three is about the theoretic foundation of emotion-situation teaching. That is the theory about emotion, stimuli-behavior, transfer, reinforcement and activities. Chapter Four discusses the practice of the physical experimental emotion-situation teaching. This chapter is the focus of this thesis. According to Li Jiling's theory on emotion-situation teaching, this chapter puts forward the teaching beliefs and operating factors of the physical experimental emotion-situation teaching, introduces some media to set up the physical experimental emotion-situation teaching and some principles that it should obey, and finally sets about the research from the teacher's demonstrating experiments, the students' experiments in groups and the experiments after class. Because there are some demerits in present experimental emotion-situation teaching, it must be optimized. There are many optimized approaches, such as creating demonstrative experiments, changing the verifying experiment into the exploratory experiment, directing students to design experiments and adopting many methods to create experimental emotion-situation. Finally in the conclusion this thesis puts forward the advantages, the developmental prospects and the present problems of this research.
