It is important to foster the students'ability of Biological experiment in Biology teaching. The students'ability of Biological experiment is checked in the Entrance Examination to University. Biological Experiment test items not only can check the students'potential in natural science but also the students'characteristic in life science research. Biological Experiment test items represent the direction of Biology Entrance Examination to University in large extent. It is necessary to summary the characteristics of the past Biological experiment test items and the students'ability of Biological experiment under the circumstance of China's reform in the Entrance Examination to University. Put forward some strategy in fostering the students'ability of Biological experiment aim at the present condition of the students'ability in experiment. This thesis is comprehensive study that includes basic study and applied study, and the main study methods are documents method, questionnaire method and test question method. The writer read many documents and studied the view from experts and scholars. The students'ability of Biological experiment includes six aspects: the ability of choice topic; the ability of making assumption and designing project; the ability of operating; the ability of collecting data; the ability of handling data and getting result; the ability of expressing the result. According to the six aspects and the Biological Experiment test items, the writer divided the items into six types, including experiment operation item, experiment material choice item, experiment principle comprehend and application item, experiment result analysis item, experiment evaluation and improvement item, experiment design item . The Experiment test items are divided four stages from 1981. The writer summaries the Characteristics of the four stages Biological Experiment test items and the students'ability of Biological experiment. The students'ability of designing project is the test items'important aspect. The writer wants to offer some theories according to fostering the students'ability of Biological Experiment through summarizing the Characteristics of the past Biological Experiment test items.
