A Study Of Biological Experiment Tests For New Courses College Entrance Examination

Biology is an experimental based natural science,with many concepts and principles derived from experiments and summarization.Biological experiments can not only impart knowledge,verify theories,develop skills,and through integrated,designed,investigative and other practical training,but also cultivate students' scientific thinking and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems,and develop their good science consciousness and the spirit of independently exploring truth.Therefore,the tests for biological experiments in College Entrance Examination always occupy an important position.This paper employs the methods of literature analysis,comparative research,case study and statistics.Firstly,according to high school biology's curriculum objectives,content standards,recommended implementationsome experimental skill requirements in the new courses curriculum standard are analyzed;in accordance with the examination syllabus published by the Centre of Ministry of Education and the analysis of the experimental part in the examination description formulated by Guangdong,Shandong,Hainan,and Jiangsu provinces,based on the examination syllabus and combined the characteristics of provinces and cities,this paper summed up current college entrance examination's specific requirements for students' biological experiment ability.Next,from 2007 to 2015,Guangdong,Shandong,Hainan and Jiangsu provinces' tests and new curriculum standards national test,we can know that the main experiment test question type is filling in the blank.The proportion of biological experimental questions in college entrance examination is raised after the first drop and keep smooth and slightly upward tendency.The proportion of experimental test question scores in integrated science test and single subject test exhibit different characteristics.In comparison,the proportion of scores in integrated science test(new curriculum standards national test,Guangdong and Shandong provinces' tests)is greater than the single subject test(Hainan and Jiangsu Provinces' tests);the scores of single subject is relatively lower,especially Hainan's biological experimental test scores is the lowest.In addition,the proportion of scores in the integrated science test is with greater fluctuation than single subject test.The knowledge examined in college entrance examination's biological experiment test include three main fields: the metabolism of life,evolution and gene and variation,modern bio-engineering technology.On the whole,while highlighting the major content,tests takes into account a comprehensive knowledge of biolog.The test range of knowledge in integrated science test(new curriculum standards national test,Guangdong and Shandong provinces' tests)is scattered,and that in the single subject test(Hainan and Jiangsu provinces' tests)is more concentrated.The ability involved in the experimental test is to verify students' experimental ability,their ability of exploring basic experimental methods and skills,and their ability to evaluate the experiment.The test source comes mainly from textbooks,accounting for 77.6%,followed by life practice(11.9%),life and history of science(6%),research papers(4.5%).Through the above analysis,it can be discovered that the characteristics and trends of biological experimental tests in college entrance examination: focusing on basic knowledge and basic skills,plus important and hot topics;focusing on experimental ideas and thinking processes;complex experiments formed by many small experiments in series;putting theories into practice and paying attention to STS and daily life.According to the characteristics of biological experiment test in college entrance examination,this paper aims to provide some references and recommendations for teachers and educational administrative departments.
