At present, the role of conflict of citizen in mass sports is a general phenomenon. It is an inevitable outcome about socialization of mass sports. It is also an expression that citizen sociatilised in the society in market economy. The socialization of human is not only propelling the citic paticipation of mass sports forward, but also influencing the role acting of citizen in mass sports. The socialization of mass sports we talk about involves two espects. One is the progress of the citizen themselves, the other is the progress of mass sports. The result shows: because of the notion influenced by the planned economy and the restriction of the material factors, the citizen's abilities of role behavior, role acting, role cogintion and the level of role mentality under the market economy is poor. For years, with the development of market economy and the perfection of sports system reform, the mass sports participation factors out and inner circumstance for citizen have made a progress gradually. With the higher socialization of mass sports, the appearance of role conflict is clear, reflected mainly in three factors: the conflict of citizen individual himself, individual and individual, individual and government. The research also put forward the ways for solving the conflict of role, realizing the fuse of role. For example: strengthen the fuse of role of themselves, bring the mass sports organization of sports and some organizations of groop like them into play, strengthen the interacting between citizen and governments, raising the feedback after the conflict of role appeared.
