In recent years, the enlargement of the scale of higher education provides more and more opportunities for the youth. But at the same time, some new problems appear resulting from the limited resources that has not increased in proportion to enrollment. Traditional teaching model and educational faith become the obstacles to the human resource development of the college students. The heavy employment pressure faced by the graduates and the waste of human resource are the consequences. Faced with the new situation, the university should do something to react positively to this situation. The theory of learning organization provides a new angle of view for universities to reckon and act accordingly. This paper views all the faculty and students as the partners during the process of learning in the university which itself is a learning organization. For the students, the period of studying in the university is only a short part of the whole period for their human resource development. On the foundation of wide interviews with students, teachers and administrators in universities, the paper states a series of problems of human resource development of students in the university and analyzes the hiding causes. In the end, this article provides some suggestions to improve human resource development of students and facilitating effective teaching.
