First, the paper discussed the implications, the definitions, the characteristics, the forming and development of learning responsibility from the theoretical point of view, learning responsibility(LR) is a mental trend that students take their duty and responsibility on their own. It contains cognition, emotion, will , behavior, Furthermore, It develops from "be held responsible" to "being responsible" under the influence of self, family, school and society .Then the study investigated senior high school students' LR using the self-made questionnaire, The results indicated: â‘ On the whole,the total scores of students is normal distributing; â‘¡the boy ' s scores were much higher than the girl ' s on the total, go-aheadism , planning; â‘¢The scores of Grade Two and Grade Three were much higher than Grade One on go-aheadism, but reverse on self-control; â‘£Except planning, the scores of the general was much higher than the country, than the good ,but reverse on self-control.
