Object: To investigate the influence of lifestyle to bone density in undergraduate students for directing the students to increase bone density and prevent osteoporosis.Methods: Among the students of Yanbian University Medical College, 130 Korean boy students, 110 the Korean girl students, 196 Han nationality boy students and 202 Han nationality girl students were randomly selected. All of students were received bone density measuring and questionnaire investigation. Among the students received bone density measuring. 230 students were randomly selected to performed dietary survey with 24 hour recall and medical check-up.Results: (1) Intake of vitamin A, vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, Ca, Mg and Zn was lower than reference nutrient intake or adequate intake certified values of Chinese Society of Nutrition. (2)Osteo sono-assessment index (OSI) of the boy students was lower than girl students(P<0.01). (3) OSI in the students doing exercise at the middle school and university was higher than those of non-exercise (P<0.05). (4) Attention to balance diet and intake enough bean products helped increase bone density and too many intake of vegetality food was unfavourable to increase bone density. Body weight is positive correlation with bone density. (5) OSI in the students who had bone fracture story was lower than those of no bone fracture. The age of menarche in girl students was negative correlation with bone density. (6) OSI in the students of not having breakfast was lower than those of having breakfast. (7) The height of Korean students was lower than Han nationality students. BMI and OSI of Korean boy student were higher than Han nationality boy students.Conclusion: Exercise, body weight, body mass index, bone fracture story, balance diet, intake of bean products and age of menarche were main influence factor of bone density.
