Study On The Influence Of The Television Medium To The Social Contact Of Countryside Society

This research takes modernization theory and the medium effect theory as a center of resistance, mainly utilizes sociological and the dissemination knowledge, adopts the questionnaire survey, the visits method, through investigating in Manan village and Suzha village in the Hubei Province, studies the influence of the television medium to the social contact of countryside society. Analyzes the important role which TV media plays in the social contact inside the family and in the village numbers. The full text altogether divides six major parts:The first part is an introduction, including the theory summary as well as the research object and the method, combs the past relevant research, and proposes the logical mentality research supposition of this article on this foundation .The second part, mainly describes the basic general situation of two villages and states the condition of the overall television resources in these two villages .The third part, from the rural social structure, social support system analyzes the basic features of rural social contacts which is expanding and rationalization , pointed out the important exemplary role which the TV media plays in the transform of the ideas. The fourth part, has studied the influence of TV media to the social contact in the family members, analyzes the positive role the television medium performs in the contact of different generations in rural family members , at the same time has also put forward that the TV medium is one of the sources which can produce the family contradiction. The fifth part, regards TV news and TV play as the breakthrough point, analyzes the important role they acted in member's society of the village associates of the two the strong character which associates in the rural social contact. The social interaction around the television news has produced the news opinion leader and there is certain influence on the social relationships of original village too. The disappearance of contacting the content of media will cause the obstacle to villager's social contacts.In the last part, the research has pointed out the main conclusion, the problem remaining to be explored and the drawback about the research.
