Study On The Influence Of The Television Medium On The Socialization Of Left-behind Children In Countryside

The paper which is based on socialization theory and medium effect theory mainly get a deep research on television medium's influence on socialization of left-behind children on countryside through the questionnaire investigation and interview, including television medium's influence on left-behind children's socialization, social communication, studying and entertainment. There are five parts in this paper:The first part is the introduction. It shows us the achievements in this field before.The second part is the research propose, including aim, creativity, theories, research suppose, basic notion, research method and so on.The third part shows us situations of investigative town and characters of the respondents. After deep understanding to respondents' own of medium and their contact with medium, we get a general idea and comparison about two types of families' own (left-behind children families and non-left-behind children families) of medium resources.The fourth part shows the television medium's influence on left-behind children in countryside according to individual socialization. Television medium affect left-behind children's moral, communication, studying and entertainment deeply. In one hand, in the progress of children's socialization, television medium, instead of family and schools, play the role of advancer in some extent. In another hand, because of television programs' different qualities, there are a lot of differences in different children's moral, communication, studying and entertainment.The fifth part show the conclusion of this paper. It also advices that it is needed to enlarge the television medium's positive affection to left-behind children's socialization. At last it give us the disadvantages about the paper and thinking about the research in this field.
