| With the development of the society and education, the issue of teaching professionalism draws the wide attention of the world .The level of specialization for the teaching profession is mainly reflected through the teacher's standard of qualification, the authentication of quality and the system of guarantee. The teacher credentials system is the key link and the most important contents. America is the first country, which practices the system. They have accumulated plentiful experience in the past 200 years. We should use American's modern system and experience for reference and integrate the practical situations in China to perfect the system in our country and quicken the steps of teaching professionalism. This is the orientation of the teacher education now and in the future.Applying the monographic comparing study of different countries and the analyzing method of education sociology to the problem, this article will approach and research the American teacher credentials system from four different angles: the concepts of the teacher credentials system and formation; the emergence and development of the system; the present situation and the trend of the system; and the enlightenment to us and how to use it for reference. |
