A Study On American Primary And Secondary School Physical Education

It is very important for our country to develop scientific physical fitness on teenagers. It is also a way of forming healthy characters for them. Recently, as a result of the education for examination style of our country, there is a back fall on our primary and secondary school physical education. More concerns and discussions on it should be given and effective strategies should be put forward. Much successful experiences of school physical education have been accumulated and mastering these precious experiences can do much good to the quality education of our country.Under the principle of unification both historical and logical methods, by using the model of special comparison among different nations in comparative education and structural functional factors analysis in sociology of education and by consulting a lot of documental materials combined with the internet, we briefly introduced and studied the historical process, present situation and problems of American physical education in primary and secondary school. On the basis of it, we pointed out many uses of references to our country, and put forward some preliminary suggestions about how to improve our school physical education and how to build the educational system in our school.
