The research on Physical Education teacher evaluation is an important task in the research of physical education curriculum reform presently. In the implementation of Physical Education new curriculum standards background, the research on PE teacher evaluation status has certain practical and theoretical value . This thesis tend to mainly use methods of literature, questionnaire survey, expert interview, logical analysis and mathematical statistics, make more in-depth study and exploration for the status quo, and the causes of the problems that the Cheng Du City Chenghua District primary and secondary school PE teacher evaluation, and give the corresponding countermeasures .The survey results showed the current situation of the PE teacher evaluation in Chenghua District primary and secondary school:(1)The evaluation institution is not complete, the evaluation system is imperfect, the valuation is mere formality ;(2)The rewards and punishments is the main purpose of the evaluation, not paying sufficient attention to the professional development of teachers;(3) The evaluation content that takes that student body constitution tests achievement as main basis is unitary , the attention to teacher teaching process is insufficient ;(4) The evaluation of methods isn't scientific enough;(5)The valuation of results was not timely feedback, displaying the results wasn't scientific.According to the analysis of the current condition , this paper conducted an in-depth study of the causes of teacher evaluation problems, that from four dimensions which from awareness, institution, system and method with evaluation of PE teacher.Finally, according to the new curriculum idea and requirements ,several measures of this paper are as follows: (1) Changes concept , builds the evaluation idea that to improve teaching and urge developing for teacher by teacher evaluation; (2)To build up the evaluation system that labeled with new course standard; (3)To build up the evaluation indicator system that labeled with new course standard;(4)To build up the estimate pattern system that labeled with new course standard;(5)To use scientific methods.
