Shendu: Researches On Significance Of Moral Education

Shendu, Being cautious when one is alone, is one of the fulfillment methods which created by Confucian school, and it plays an important role in moral education continually. My article researches on its significance of the moral education, applies the theories of modern education science and psychology to it, analyses the concept, characters and significance of subjective moral personality education, digs out the ideology resource from traditional culture, acquires the "shendu" (being cautious when one is alone) from traditional Confucian school's ethics, analyses the origination, development and connotation, makes modern moral education take on a new look with "shendu" fastidiously, involving subjective moral education and cultivation of subjective moral personality, studies on combination of "shendu" and subjective moral personality education by comparison, acknowledges the huge effect and function of "shendu" in the course of cultivation of subjective moral personality and tells some feasible solutions which can get rid of the shortcomings of traditional moral education.
