A study on the second language learning strategies is an important problem between applied linguistics and psychology. Since cognitive psychology has risen in the sixties of 20th century. Learning strategies has been regarded as more and more important. A L. Wenden, O,Malley , Chamot and Oxford made great contribution to the fields of the second language learning strategies. The study in the second language strategies has been increased greatly since in the eighties of the 20th century. But the study of learning Chinese as second language for Ethnic Minority students is less than this at present. Therefore, this paper has realistic meaning to improvement of the Mongolian junior middle school student' Chinese language and Chinese language teaching.This paper systematically and deeply deal with following problems by using physiology, psychology and pedagogic and also adopt comparison between investigating method and statistics method, Firstly, the introduction of learning strategies including the concept of learning Chinese language for Mongolian junior middle school students. Secondly, the existing problems and analysis in the process of junior middle school Mongolian students learning Chinese language, which mainly facus on the situation of Chinese language learning strategies in domestic and foreign; The questionnaire designed to junior middle school students for Chinese language learning strategies; The existing problems and analysis in the process of junior middle school Mongolian students learning Chinese language. Thirdly the five advices to improving Chinese language learning strategies for Mongolian junior middle school students to enhance the instruction and training in learning strategies .To arouse student's learning interest; to strengthen students' consciousness of metacognitive learning strategies. To encourage students listen more, speak more, write more. Improve the Chinese language teachers' quality and optimize their teaching method.
