People have focused attention on the application of English, primarily owning to the trend of more chances of global education communication and internationalization of education. It's very useful for people to have both professional English knowledge and abilities of its application. In order to improve students' qualities and English abilities, bilingual courses are given in many universities and middle schools.However, lack of bilingual teachers has become into the bottleneck problem for the development of bilingual education. In the research, we intend to find the rational knowledge structure and teaching method of bilingual teachers through theoretical and practical research. We have gotten anticipated achievements through more than three months' practice.This paper consists of three parts.In the first part, the origin, definition, classification of bilingual education and situation of bilingual teachers in several countries are introduced, then it described the problems existed in our country, which accounted for the importance of training bilingual teachers in our country.The second part is about theoretical research, especially on the knowledge structure and teaching method for bilingual chemistry teachers. The paper showed that it's necessary for bilingual teachers to have basic bilingual and bilingual cultural knowledge, bilingual chemistry knowledge, educational knowledge and bilingual practical knowledge. Based upon Marxian materialistic theory, constructivism and so on, the paper showed the functions of subject participant teaching method for developing knowledge and abilities for students through introducing its meaning, teaching principle and basic elements.The third part introduced the practice of knowledge training through...
