"Interesting Audiovisual-Speaking Teaching": Construction And Implementation Of Chinese Listening And Speaking Teaching Mode In Primary School

The Chinese language teaching reform, which started in 1970s, has made much progress, especially in listening and speaking teaching of primary school. It attaches the same importance to the speaking and listening as reading and writing, and tasks of speaking and listening have been added to Chinese textbooks. Chinese teachers all over the country have developed many characteristic activities in their practice, such as telling a story, roles play, presentation and so on, those activities have greatly motivated the students. However, listening and speaking teaching is still in the comprehending and cognitive stage, it can not achieve the purpose of developing students' communicative competence. So, it is urgent to explore an efficient and scientific listening and speaking teaching model which meets the needs of children .In this thesis, the author thinks that interesting audiovisual and speaking teaching method will bring great change to the listening and speaking teaching. originating from building teaching materials, the author designs the interesting audiovisual teaching model which is student-oriented, theoretically supported, it proves to be reliable and efficient by test. The demonstration will be presented on the following four parts:1. The brief introduction of the model. In this part, the author will analyze the present situation of listening and speaking teaching, and show it's essence and features.2. The theoretical basis of the model. In this part, the author will respectively demonstrate the structural theory, mutiple-intelligence theory, dialogue theory as well as their contributions to the model.3. The realistic basis of the model. In this part, the author points out that the need of developing children language ability, the popularization of modern scientific teaching technology totally account for the necessity of the model design.
