To study the background of inquiry learning, and to clarify the new ideas and related theories about curriculum evaluation, both are important, which of great help us to have a deep understanding of this issue.This paper begins with the definition of classroom assessment, then puts forward three aspects of classroom assessment about inquiry learning: promoting of students' development, paying attention to teachers' growth, and integration of teachers' teaching process and students' learning process. At the same time, on the basis of the specialty of biological subject, this paper discusses evaluation standards and contents, sorts evaluation methods and implements, expatiates some strategies of dealing with evaluation information. Thus, this paper has made a preliminary theoretical analysis of classroom assessment system about biology inquiry learning in middle school.Furthermore, this paper puts forward an evaluation index system, and then according to this system, compiles questionnaires. On the basis of preliminary investigation, evaluation indexes are checked with Kendall' W (a), evaluation weight is determined with the method of AHP, at last, these indexes and their weight are modified by interviews.
