Since the curriculum reform in 2003,inquiry teaching,as a teaching method that effectively cultivates students' scientific literacy,has received extensive attention and application,but there are still many problems in practice.In 2018,the new round of curriculum reform is about to come.It is necessary to establish a corresponding evaluation system to promote the development of inquiry teaching.However,most of the existing teaching evaluation systems are aimed at student learning.There are few teaching programs for teachers.The evaluation indicators are mostly directed at the overall teaching structure and lack the characteristics of the disciplines.The existing evaluation system for biological inquiry teaching is also not perfect,and the overall completeness,the observability and the rigor of construction process needs to be improved.In addition,the classroom-teaching video analysis method has many advantages such as less interference in the classroom,support for backtracking,high efficiency and quality of observation.It has gradually been widely used in teaching evaluation,and its application in teaching evaluation is in its infancy.This article attempts to construct a high school biology inquiry teaching evaluation system.Based on the characteristics of inquiry teaching and the core qualities of biology,reference is made to theoretical systems such as pedagogy,psychology,teaching theory,China's ordinary high school biology curriculum standards,and the US national science education standards.This article uses literature analysis,questionnaires and interviews to determine evaluation indexes,weights and evaluation criteria,and finally form the evaluation system of senior biology inquiry teaching evaluation system,and uses video analysis method to practice the evaluation system.The evaluation index system constructed in this paper includes three first-level indicators,eight second-level indicators,17 third-level indicators and 26 fourth-level indicators.The evaluation system is based on the evaluation of teacher's teaching and evaluation of students' learning.It mainly serves the improvement of inquiry teaching quality.Adopting a scientific and rigorous construction process and designing a complete evaluation procedure and coding system,the evaluation system has high content validity and operability.Through the practice of the evaluation system by video analysis,it was found that the evaluation system has high reassessment reliability and structural validity,and can play its diagnostic function.The research content of this article mainly includes five parts:the research background and the theory research,the preliminary construction index system,the revision index and the determination weight,the practice evaluation system,the summary and the outlook.The first part reviews a large number of documents,summarizes the research background,and determines the research object,purpose,methods and ideas.The concept definition,development history and research status of inquiry teaching and teaching evaluation are combed to lay the foundation for constructing the evaluation system.The second part,through the literature research method,draws on the existing evaluation models at home and abroad to preliminarily construct the evaluation index of high school biology inquiry teaching and describe its connotation.The establishment of the first-second-and third-level indicators is based on the key elements,core links,and specific requirements of exploration.The four-level indicators are the key teacher-student behavior in inquiry teaching.Its formulation refers to the core qualities of biology and inquiry teaching objectives.In the third part,questionnaires and interviews were used to solicit opinions from 27 university teachers and senior high school biology teachers.The structural entropy method was used to determine the weights,and the evaluation criteria were further designed to form a complete evaluation system.In the fourth part,design the evaluation procedure and coding system,use NVivo 11 software to encode and evaluate the five inquiry teaching videos,modify the indicators according to the problems found in the evaluation process,summarize the level description of indicators,test the reassessment reliability and structural validity.The fifth part summarizes and looks forward to the construction and practice of the evaluation system.
