Nowadays,countries around the world are paying more and more attention to education.Some countries have raised the issue of education to the height of national development strategy.With the rapid development of science and technology and the background of the rise of high-end technologies such as mobile Internet,big data,and cloud computing,we are more and more deeply aware of the power of technology.The development of the country's demand for outstanding talents has surpassed any era.How to cultivate outstanding talents is the mission of our educators.At the Third Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee,General Secretary Xi said,"Enhance the students' sense of responsibility,innovation,and practical ability...to improve students' aesthetic and humanistic qualities." This shows that "innovative spirit,practical ability,aesthetics and humanistic qualities" are measuring the important benchmarks of outstanding talents and also a major issue in education reform,Which requires us to change the traditional ways of teaching,and inquiry teaching has become a popular choice for most educators.As various forms of inquiry-based teaching enter the classroom,everything must be explored once,and its teaching effect is worrying.How to construct a scientific geography inquiry teaching evaluation form to guide geography inquiry teaching is a very valuable topic.This is also the original intention of the author to write this article.The content of this article has four main parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background and significance,research methods,research ideas and the status quo of research at home and abroad.The second part is the basic theoretical research of inquiry teaching,which expounds the concept and characteristics of inquiry teaching,and seeks the theoretical basis of geographic inquiry teaching from constructivism,interest motivation theory and recent development zone theory.The third part is the construction of the evaluation index system of geography inquiry teaching.The research is carried out from the aspects of the purpose of evaluation,the concept of evaluation,the selection of evaluation indicators and the construction of index weights.This paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to determine the weight of the indicator and validate it.The fourth part is the practical research of high school geography inquiry teaching,and the evaluation model is used to evaluate and achieve the expected results.
