| Geographical inquiry teaching evaluation is aimed at inquiry teaching geography classroom, teachers teaching activities and student learning activities in the active process to make value judgments. Since the new curriculum reform, geographic inquiry teaching has become an effective means of teaching, and therefore it is necessary to establish the corresponding evaluation criteria, in order to promote the development of inquiry-based teaching.The traditional geography teaching evaluation is based on the knowledge as the core concepts of education, so these evaluation criteria and systems cannot meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform now. The concepts of new curriculum reform pay more attention to evaluate the students on the process of inquiry so as to promote overall development of students. Existing geographic inquiry teaching evaluation is not perfect, so it is of great effects and significance to establish a set of evaluation index system which is in accordance with inquiry teaching. This topic is on the basis of pedagogy, psychology, geographic new curriculum standards, the geography teaching theory and other theoretical systems, and moreover use the method of literature, questionnaire investigation, case analysis and other research methods to collect statistical data and demonstrate the results of the study, which determines the evaluation index and the index weight and form the inquiry teaching evaluation index system finally.The establishment of evaluation system on the subject is composed of two aspects. One is the evaluation of student activities, which is made up of three first level indexes, including "inquiry knowledge", "inquiry activities", "emotional attitude." 9 secondary indexes and 31 specific three-level indexes. The other aspect is the evaluation of teachers’behaviors, which consists three first level indexes, including "inquiry concepts", "inquiry knowledge", "inquiry ability." 9 secondary indexes and 31 specific three-level indexes Index system established in this study can reflect the teaching characteristics of teaching philosophy and geography, which are student-centered and teacher-led, and show the academic and scientific characteristic s of inquiry teaching geography.The main contents of this paper is divided into five parts:research background and significance of the topic, the theoretical basis, the establishment of the content of evaluation indexes, the determination of evaluation index weight,analysis of cases.Part Ⅰ:consult the documents, put forward the questions, summarize the status, find the significance of the topic.Part Ⅱ:provide evidence for the building of inquiry teaching evaluation index through various theoretical studies.Part Ⅲ:determine the index system of inquiry teaching evaluation by the means of questionnaire and the teachers’ consult from the front.Part Ⅳ:Calculate the weight of the index system by hackling the data and utilizing the analytic hierarchy processPart Ⅴ:Column by case analysis, experimental comparison, the establishment of the evaluation system for case analysis. |
