The life-orientation of textbook is one of core ideas under the circumstance of the new curriculum reform. It is useful to the construction of textbook and the right uses of textbook for the teachers and the students by analyzing the life-orientation of textbook. Taking (?) (?) it as an example, the paper is to study the issues on the life-orientation of textbook by content analysis, and then bring forward some suggestions to the textbook editors and the teachers.The paper is divided into six chapters:The first part is about "introduction". It describes the background of the idea of the life-orientation of textbook, then points out the disadvantages in the existing study and introduces the study methods of the paper.The second part is about "the losing and regression of life-oriented curriculum". It traces the history of the relation between curriculum and life, as well as putting forward the frame of textual analysis by referencing many researchers' productions. From historical aspect, it verifies the inevitability of "regression to life" curriculum.The third part is about "textbook: the material carrier of regression to life curriculum". Psychology, Cognitive theory of Marxism, Pedagogy and Sociology, as its theoretical basis, verify the rationality and necessity of life-oriented textbook.The fourth part is about "the actualities: the lack of life-orientation in the existing textbook". It analyzes the phenomena of lack of life-orientation in those textbooks before the curriculum reform, and points out the oblivion of the students themselves, the real-life of the students and the real-life of the society in the textbooks. From realistic aspect, it verifies the necessity of life-oriented textbook.
