The distribution of population is always influenced by spatial geographic factors. The traditional demographic data stems from demography, but it has already shown its limitation. The expression higher, more flexible and more effective in precision and demographic data new methods of statistics are needed adapting to the sustainable development of the society. Specialization of population census data is one of the methods to solve above-mentioned problems. It is a new research direction of population geography and it has broken the demographic data stemming from the boundary line of the administrative division for a long time. It offers the new thinking and method for us to count demographic data in the area that is not administrative area. So it is very important to study specialization of population census dataAbout the research of specialization of population census data, a lot of people have already tried it. On the basis of drawing lessons from formers studying and combining the latest theory of the data fusion in the world, this text launches the research of specialization of population census data in Fujian. This research has performed the space distribution pattern of the density of population of Fujian and achieved accuracy, science and practical population data.Based on the 5th national population census data of 2000, this paper analyses the relationship between population density and the influencing factors in Fujian, including topographical index (calculated by territorial elevation and relief), land use, road network density , network density of waterways , the distance of the coastline, and residential areas . Based on the analysis above, taking GIS software and SPSS statistical software as tools, this paper gives population distribution weights to influence factors through comparatively objective way. The multiple sources data fusion technology is applied to the specialization of population.The specialization of population census data is a course of complexity, it is very difficult for the data to be upgraded and maintained. Based on Avenue and VB6. 0 languages author carries on secondary development to it and structures the demographic data information system of Fujian.
