Based on I.Newton and R.Descartes' scientific universe conception, modern knowledge conception is a kind of philosophy which means the opposition of subjectivity and objectivity. And it emphasizes empiricism and logic positivism. So it makes a certain trend that the curriculum with its center at discipline logic will guide the development of the university curriculum. The university curriculum directed by the modern knowledge conception has three shortcomings. The first one is the separation between science and art, where the construction of the curriculum is not integrated. The second one is that the content of the curriculum is out of date, and that the curriculum setting lacks times spirit. The last one is that students enjoy little freedom in choosing their favorite subjects. All those defects are the irrevocable result of the closed and separated discipline logic system. The postmodern knowledge conception is set up on the base of the critique of the modern knowledge conception. It is a sort of open, completed, integrated and dynamic knowledge conception. Viewing the rational opinions of the postmodernism and some foreign famous universities, the article aims to stimulate the development of the universities' curriculum by constructing a four-level curriculum group which is the connection of the science and the art subjects, the elementary subjects, specialized elementary subjects and specialized subjects. And this article discusses its basic principles only.
