On The Feasibility Of Setting Up A Male Professional Football Club In Guangxi

The thesis uses the method of documents, consulting to experts, investigation by questionnaire, interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis and takes as samples three cities in Guangxi: Naning, Liuzhou and Guilin and three football schools: Hercules in Nanning, Golden Throat in Liuzhou and Hongyuan in Beihai. Based on analyzing the development of a male professional football club in Guangxi and the factors which affect it, the thesis makes a comprehensive investigation of the current situation of football sport in Guangxi, and then studies objectively the feasibility and restriction of setting up a male professional football club in Guangxi and finally puts forward to a basic plan of building a male professional football club. The fruit of this study is as followed: â… The Development of the Professional Football Sport in Guangxi and the Factors Which Affect It Guangxi professional football team is the professional team supervised both by the government and sports commission at the beginning of the home reformation of professional football and which was reformed and operated by sports commission and companies. Restricted by home football reformation and other factors, Guangxi Football Team broke up in 1998 and no one took charge of it in Guangxi so that it was took over by others. The author studies this case and thinks that there are four reasons: 1. there was lacking of effective regulations for government, departments of physical culture and companies to communicate with each other; 2. it was influenced by the guiding idea of athletic sports strategies; 3.the rights of management and distribution were unclear among government, departments of physical culture and investors; 4. there lacked capital and the support from government was not enough. By analysis, from 1999 to 2001 league football matches at the level of A and B of Guangdong Hongyuan and Eight-One Team were held in Nanning and Liuzhou. The situation is as followed: 1. the football teams did a bad job; 2. football fans'affinity was not strong; 3. market management system was not sound. â…¡Analyze the Factors Affecting the Football Sport in Guangxi at Present According the investigation, the author has found that although at present the football environment in Guangxi is not bad, there still exist some disadvantages: 1. there is not its own professional football team in Guangxi; 2. there lacks input into Guangxi youth football and it is difficult for students from football schools to find a job; 3. professional coaches are not skillful and there is short of talents in the field of football management; 4. the law and rules concerned are not sound and controlling system hasn't been formed. â…¢Analyze the Feasibility of Setting up a Male Professional Football Club 1.Guangxi has a good regional advantage; 2. regional economy develops quickly and local people's ability of consuming physical culture has been improved and sports are going on actively; 3. the good home policy environment and the reformation situation provide developing space for setting up a professional football club; 4. amateur football sport in Guangxi is going on actively; 5. football school and amateur clubs develop quickly and do an impressive job; 6. Guangxi has rich experience of holding all kinds of matches at abroad and home; 7. corresponding places and equipment are ready; 8. with citizens'support the football market is good; 9. government strengthened the support for football; 10. local companies increase the input into football; 11. the success of excellent football clubs at abroad and home provide precious experience for building a professional football club. Analysis of restrictive factors: 1. government's policy support 2. companies'support and investment. â…£The Basic Plan of Setting up a Male Professional Football in Guangxi According to the conditions possessed by Guangxi currently and the successful experience of excellent clubs at abroad and home, the author brings out the basic plan of setting up a male professional football club: 1.Build the Club Mode of Joint-Stock System. (1) Stock-holding clubs in Guangxi can accumulate capital very soon and overcome the limitation of department and region. As a result, a socialized source and net of investment will come into being and the main body of investors becomes pluralized to enable clubs to absorb excellent coaches and athletes and improve machinery and other equipment laying a foundation for the building and development of clubs. (2) Separating the ownership and managerial authority of clubs can make clear the bounds of property right between capital owner and manager so that the relation of property right gets clearer and more specific.As a result, clubs can become comparatively independent producer and manager. What's more, to build a new rule of self-management and being held economically responsible can avoid the unnecessary external administrative intervention. (3) Joint-stock system can overcome the short-term action of clubs and play an active role in solving the economic problem and conflict among the body of investors, clubs and individuals. 2.Liuzhou and Nanning Can Act as the Main City of the club. Competitive market should play the leading role, and football competitive market and talent market should have precedence to transform football resource into market disposition and optimization grouping. We should tap all the potential channels, take means of doing business, absorb social capital and the participation of companies and consistently widen the space of the development of football schools and amateur clubs. Then we should liberate ideas and renew visions. At last, we should strengthen the management of coaches of all levels, legal construction and publicizing football, absorb more effectively talents of management and supervision, perfect the mechanism of supervision.
