At the beginning, if the research to the senior middle school students with art speciality judge their self-development only rely on the learning of general knowledge courses and put them in the range of bad students, and don' t consider their characteristics, which is undoubtedly wrong, Only based on the whole learning and living of the students with art speciality of senior middle school, making research for the matural of the practice, just can provide basis for the research in terms theory, seeking theoretical prerequisite. The present situation of self-development of students with art speciality If senior middle school shows the contradition and unity of the active state and passive state of self-ideology and self-regulation. The research was acted step-by-step along the train of thought of self-questioning such as, who am I? Where am I from? Where am I going? How to go? In order to explain and understand the present situation and the influential factors of self-development of students with art speciality of senior middle school. This kind of actual revelation is humanitarian solicitude for the students with art speciality of senior middle school. lively explanation for art educators, rational inspiration for child-care education.The research adopted mainly the qualitative research method which show its special charm in social sciences. The qualitative research method studied the individual living world and daily operation of social organization in the natural circumstance, constructed explanatory comprehension for the life stories and meaning of the people to be studied , advocated researchers' participation in the research circumstances and enjoy same feeling with the process to make the quality of things appear step-by-step by means of researchers' feeling-shifting in the course of re-combing parts to form stories through describing details and facts.I chose L Middle School of Dingxi as the scene of my research, from the beginning of October, 2004, I began getting into the scene formally, I took mainly part in the still life painting of students with art speciality, I also did on-the-spot observation and conversation. Later, I made thorough conversation to patriarches and directors of classes key students, The collection and arrangement of materials and the themes were turned from unfamiliar into familiar, were broken up from the whole into parts, were induced and summarized .In this course ,my visual angle of observation and analysis were mainly focused on these three questions' answers, Who am I? Where am I from? Where am I going and how to go? inorder to study the present situation and the factors that affect its formation of these students' self-development.For the question who am I, I answered mainly in three parts: the internal reverberation of these students' speech and words, the different ideas to general knowledge courses of their teachers and students without art speciality, their family's refraction. For the question Where am I from, I analyzed mainly in the following parts : texting these students' multiple intelligences, reviewing their past study life ,parents and teacher's attitudes and requests fro them. For the question where am I going and how to go, I investigated and analyzed mainly these students' motives and goals of studying, their tactics of studying and their behavior in the studio. The research results showed that their self-developments appeared the present situation of both the same as and opposite'.The present situation was effected by macrosopic and micrcosmic factors, the former showed mainly the effects of cultural tradition, the entrance examination system and the economic system, the latter showed mainly the effects of the peer group, the factors of familys, teachers, school, etc.At last, According to the results, conclusions and factors of effect , I got some problems about the present entrance examination system and the present education system for examination ,and made statistics the accession of the new educations changing and the educations of powers ; in the end, I gave suggestion for the educators, the senior middle school students with art speciality, and patriarches.
