The Study Of Democratization In Senior Middle School Decision-making System

The stage of senior middle school is the most sensitive period in the whole educational system, and it attracts parents and society more and more attention for a long time. With the school keeps developing, the increasing of teachers' educational experience, and the elevating of democratic consciousness, the decision-making system of senior middle schools need improving and perfecting right now.By the study of educational arrangement, we can see the immediate request of reformation of school decision-making system. With the power center of educational administration come down to the schools, "school based management" began go through the word. "School based management" need "modern school management system" , "modern school management system" need lift the level of school decision-making. The breakthrough of the foundational education reform is senior middle school, and senior middle schools have the especial need in the reform of decision-making system.Basic theories of decision-making can be found in management theories, which must be studied for efficient. First, decision-making is a whole process, and many units are included in it; Second, group decision-making is important to improve the quantity of decision; Third, participative decision-making is an effective way for democracy; Forth, democracy means rebuild of people' s relationship in power and profit. This paper definite the real meaning of democratic decision-making, definite the relationship of "group decision" , "participative decision-making" and "democratic decision-making" , then come to a conclusion that, decision-making in senior middle school must be done through democraticmeans, and must be decided by schoolmaster himself.With the combination of educational needs and the management theories, this paper raised a system request in school decision-making system. Integrated system of democratic decision-making must include three democratic requests: principal' s decision-making, canteens for decision-making, participative decision-making.At first, principal' s decision-making must select the right style to act democracy, and must do so frequently.Secondly, the structure of canteens for decision-making must be improved, so as to represent the real thinking of teachers. The necessary way is to make the staff come from different department.Thirdly, participative decision-making need more canals and chances for teachers to take part in decision-making.in order to improve the efficient of democratic decision-making, we must take more related actions, which can be found as scientific means. These means also include the principal, canteens for decision-making and participative decision-making.We must take actions to make the decision-making more democratic and more scientific, the most urgent and important thing is to make out of the real request of democratic decision-making, which is proper for senior middle school.
