In recent years, with the increase of society's demand for education of high quality , the county level key high schools have increasingly expanded the recruitment of students scale .The high school students can be divided into two kinds: the enrolled formally and the expanded recruitment students. The latter have to pay higher matriculation fee, which is quite common . This phenomenon of expanded recruitment has become one of society's heated issues.The management of the expanded recruitment students in the county level key high schools is an important part of the research on student management . This article tries to find some problems in managing the expanded recruitment students by investigation and interviews to discover the hidden reasons, and to make corresponding suggestions and plans . Therefore, the research is done through three sections:Section 1 includes introduction and the recognition of theory. It mainly deals with the background and the arm , the meaning, the methods as well as the main thread of the research . Besides, it lays the foundation of theory and methodology based on the summarization of existing student management conception, models and so on.Section 2 includes the investigation and analysis of the problems in the expanded recruitment students. The result has indicated that a large number of key high school expanded recruitment students suffer from alot of deviations in study, psychology and so on. It's also easy for them to fall into small groups and interact each other. So it's a must to strengthen the management skills to benefit the development of schools and the training of future talents because of the factors in schools, families, and the students themselves, etc.Section 3 deals with the exploration of the effective ways to improve the management of those students. Based on the research above, by learning from the experience of managing students at home and abroad, according to the characteristics of key high school expanded recruitment students, this section lays out several schemes mainly from school rules, advanced conception, strict systems, scientific models and some other aspects in management.
