The author holds a vast amount of information and related data through surveying the present-states of the computer-assisted instruction of the primary and secondary schools in Hubei province. This paper initially studies and analyses the results of the survey by considering the attitude and evaluate which come from social public figures from various circles and students about computer-assisted instruction, and the state in which teachers apply computer to teach. At the same time, on the basis of these information, according to the requirement that Educational Department must popularize computer-assisted instruction through combining pedagogy, psychology, and computer technology princible with the real conditions of society, economy and educational development, this paper presents the countermeasures of popularizing computer-assisted instruction in primary and secondary schools in Hubei province.Chapter 1: To relate the survey and study background about the use of CAI in primary and secondary schools in Hubei, and to explain the necessity and the long-term sense of using CAI in our province.Chapter 2: To analyze the present states and questions of CAI in schools in own province based on information construction, the popularization of computer-assisted instruction information technology, the status quo that teachers carry out computer-assisted instruction, the students' attitudes and evaluation about CAI courseware-making, CAI teaching material, the state of its management mechanism, etc. To study the reason through system, structure, ideas, funds, teaching personal structure, course combination, etc.Chapter 3: To present the main policies and measures of popularizing the computer-assisted in primary and secondary schools instruction. By analyzing the related factors about popularizing computer-assisted instruction, from the aspects of its basic facility construction, resource instruction, teaching personal construction system construction, computer-assisted instruction and course combination and funds guarantee etc. This paper presents the policy of popularizing the computer-assisted instruction in primary and secondary schools.
